Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FleetPunch (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use:
- the FleetPunch website and ops console at https://fleetpunch.co/fleetpunch
- the FleetPunch Android app (package

FleetPunch is a fleet operations tool. Drivers punch trip steps (handover, plant gate, charging, destination, papers). A fleet administrator at your organisation runs the console and creates driver accounts. We do not sell personal information and we do not show advertising in the apps.
1. Who this policy is for
This policy is for drivers and administrators who sign in with a FleetPunch Driver ID. The apps are intended for adult professional drivers assigned by their fleet. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to run trips and keep an audit trail.
Account and profile
- Driver ID, full name, role (driver or admin), and a hashed PIN
- Optional mobile number and driving licence number if your fleet stores them in Driver master
- Last sign-in time
Trip and vehicle operations
- Vehicle assignment (registration plate, odometer, state of charge)
- Punch records: step code, timestamp, plant name, gate number, destination, LR / trip number, charger, SOC, odometer
- Trip documents you upload at plant out and destination out (PDF, JPG, or PNG), including the original file name
Technical
- A session cookie on the website after you sign in, so you stay signed in
- Standard server logs (time, URL, and approximate connection data) used to keep the service running and secure
We do not collect GPS location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or advertising IDs. The Android app uses Internet permission only. The iOS app may ask for photo library access solely so you can attach trip papers.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate you and keep your session
- Record and display the trip cycle so you and your fleet can see the next punch
- Store gate papers against the trip
- Produce operational reports for your fleet
- Protect the service (failed logins, abuse, debugging)
We do not use this data for marketing, profiling for ads, or sale to data brokers.
4. How we share information
Punch and profile data are visible to administrators of the same FleetPunch deployment (your fleet / control room). We may share information if required by law, or with hosting providers who process data only to run this service. We do not sell personal information.
The public website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may process the technical request to serve those fonts. The signed-in console and the mobile apps talk only to the FleetPunch server at fleetpunch.co.
5. Retention
We keep driver profiles while the account is active in Driver master. Trip punches, assignments, and uploaded papers are kept for as long as the fleet needs them for operations and audit. If a driver is deactivated, login is blocked; historical punches are not automatically erased because they are part of the vehicle’s trip record.
6. Security
PINs are stored as one-way hashes, not plain text. The live service is served over HTTPS. Access to the console and APIs requires a signed-in session. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we take reasonable steps to protect data against unauthorised access.
7. Your choices and account deletion
You cannot self-register. Your fleet administrator creates and edits your Driver ID. You may:
- Ask your control room to correct your name, mobile, or licence number
- Ask them to reset your PIN
- Ask them to deactivate your login
- Request deletion of your driver profile and personal data that is not required to keep a lawful operational record
To request access, correction, or deletion, contact your fleet administrator or email privacy@fleetpunch.co. We will respond within a reasonable period. Some punch history may be retained or anonymised where the fleet must keep a trip audit trail.
8. Cookies
The website uses a session cookie after login. It is required for the console to work. The mobile apps use an equivalent signed-in session with the same server. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
9. International users
The service is operated for fleets in India (timezone Asia/Kolkata). If you access it from another country, your information is processed in India on the servers that host FleetPunch.
10. Children’s privacy
FleetPunch is a workplace tool. It is not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the apps or website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
